ORDERING
Do you have a store in which I can view or place my favor order?
We don’t have a physical storefront but an online web store. We are happy to show you items of interest to you in person with an appointment. Please call 858-693-7668 to set up a time that’s most convenient.
How do I place an order online?
Add your items into the cart. When you are ready to buy, click on the Checkout button in the Shopping Cart. Enter all of your information, including your event date. You can checkout with PayPal Express, in which you would set up an account on their site and then be directed back to us to pay. Or you can checkout with the Merchant Account. Both are secure and private.
Can I place orders by phone?
Certainly. We prefer that you do order online to insure accuracy of spelling, etc. Even though our website is secure and you rather have person-to-person contact, we’d love to hear from you!
Do I have to have my order shipped? Can I pick up my order instead?
For our local clientele and those having a destination wedding here in San Diego, we are more than happy to meet you in person. As our client, we go out of our way to make it easy and cost effective for you! Just call or email us so that we can set up a time and place that’s convenient. You can also check the "Pickup Button" instead of Shipping Option buttons as well in the Checkout process of the Shopping Cart.
What are my payment options?
Once Upon A Favor excepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. We except American Express through our PayPal Express option. When placing your order by credit card, we require the following information: credit card number, expiration date, 3 digit security code located on the back of the credit card, name as it appears on the card and address where the credit card is received and your billing phone number. In order to serve you best, all Domestic credit card transactions are handled by PayPal Express, a reputable third-party Merchant Account or with our Merchant Account, E-Merchant Discount. All International purchases will go through PayPal Express. Once the bank authorizes your credit card, we begin processing your order. PayPal and E-Merchant Discount is under strict obligation to keep your personal information private. We don’t accept checks at this time.
Can I order a sample
favor
Yes. You can order a sample of most products except those that are personalized or belong to a set. You will be charged the same amount as the cost of the product, including shipping and handling. As a special courtesy, we will deduct your sample and shipping costs should you decide to buy that product in a larger quantity for your event. All samples are shipped via our USPS Priority Mail. Just click this option in the Checkout in the Shopping Cart. Shipping samples anywhere in the U.S. at 1lb and under will cost $4.80 and over 1lb will cost $9.85.
Can I get something in a hurry?
Please contact us if you need something quickly. We will do everything we can to accommodate your request. We can RUSH certain orders with an extra fee. Also, clicking on 3 Day or 2 Day Air may cost more, but will help in making sure you get your order quicker. Items that are personalized may take a bit longer even if a RUSH is requested.
Do you sell wholesale?
Not at this time. We are a retail business.
Do you charge sales tax?
Residents of California are charged a 8.75% sales tax.
Do you have a printed catalogue?
We don’t offer a printed catalogue as everything is online. We are continuously adding products to our online store for your benefit. Should you have any questions about one of the favors, we would be more than glad to describe it for you in more detail over the phone. You can even order a sample if you are still unsure.
ORDER TRACKING
How do I check the status of my order?
We will email you an update of your purchase shipment. Included will be your tracking number. Or you can email orders@onceuponafavor.com and we will check it for you.
How do I know if Once Upon A Favor receives my order?
After you’ve placed your order online, you will get an order confirmation immediately. We will follow up with a second email with your shipping tracking number.
